I've recently be experimenting with alternative stoves for my longer backpacking trips and found the Vargo: Triad Alcohol Stove. It was exactly what I was looking for.

This is a fantastic stove if you want to go lighter. Weighing in at 5 ounces and taking up very little pack space; it really is a must have if you want to go lighter. What I was very surprised with, is its versatility. I love to not only boil water but actually cook food. While the flame can not be adjusted you can improvise with cooking pot height. I would highly recommend this stove for both long and short trips as a lighter option.

If you are a backpacker, you will always search for light stuff you can carry while camping. Vargo: Triad Alcohol Stove is perfect especially if you are going to hike for several days! Instead of bringing unsafe materials for cooking which can damage our environment, it would be more ideal to settle on what's good and what's friendly to our surroundings! By the way, I will be introducing Vargo: Triad Alcohol Stove to my friends.
